Private First Class Stanley H Tucker     

 

Stanley Tucker was born in Portland, Oregon. 

 

Pfc Stanley Tucker served within the HQ company of 513th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 17th Airborne Division. He was killed in the fight on January 7th, 1945 while his regiment cleaning the West of Bastogne of any German presence.

 

Private Tucker in spite of he was not an bazooka assistant, went volunteer to assist the fireman against an attack of enemy tank. Whereas he engaged a duel, Stanley Tucker was killed by the shooting of the armored car.
For this action, Pfc Stanley Tucker was decorated of Bronze Star posthumously.

Pfc Stanley H Tucker is buried in the American cemetery of the Luxembourg. Plot I, Row 2, grave 5.
