Pvt Alfred R Koser

 

Alfred R Koser was born in 1923 in Pennsylvania and lost his life during the battle of Normandy in 13 June 1944.

His father was Fred Koser and his mother was Bertha. It was a big family, 10 children. Alfred had 3 brothers and 6 sisters.

After completing his studies at the elementary school he became a "boat driver" whan he was enrolled the 15 June 1943 in Akron, Ohio.

He volunteered for the paratroopers and join the F Company, 507th Parachute Infantry Regiment.

His body rests in the United States in Pennsylvania.
