Sergent Thomas E. Jackson 

 

Thomas E Jackson was born on June 12th, 1916 to Carroll, Reynold Co. In the Missourri.

The family account 8 children, 3 girls and 5 boys.

In 1937, Thomas Jackson drafted, he stationned in Jefferson Barraks for 2 years, he became a Sergeant.

Being freed by army, Thomas Jaskcon get married to Mary Meadows.

In 1942, he goes volunteer and heis accepted in the paratroopers to Scott Field, he follows the training to the Camp Roberts, California.

Having received these wings wich make of him a parachutist, Thomas Jackson was assigned to the 506th PIR of the 101st Airborne and is sent to Europe to fight.

He participated in the campaigns of Normandy and Holland.

But his fate came to an end tragically in Belgium. During the Battle of the Bulge.

The Sergeant Thomas E Jackson was killed on December 20th 1944 in Bastogne.

The body rest to the Pleasant Hill Church Cemetery - Redford, Reynolds Co. Missouri.
